EXCLUSIVE LOS ANGELES ENGAGEMENT STARTS SEPTEMBER 17th
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles’ multi-cultural landscape is hilariously skewered in Amy French’s musical comedy from Executive Producers Norman Lear and George Lopez. An excellent op-ed by The Guardian’s Seumas Milne sums up the changes underway in South America, citing “South of the Border”: “Both the scale of the transformation and the misrepresentation of what is taking place in the western media are driven home in Oliver Stone’s new film, South of the Border, which allows six of these new wave leaders to speak for themselves. August 10th, 2010
By: D.M.Murdock
That title probably should say, “Why hemp could have saved the world all along,” because the plant should never have been banned in the first place, and its prohibition has led to untold suffering around the globe. If we—the global human population—had been able to grow the miracle plant hemp (Cannabis genus) locally and to use it for local industries and businesses, including and especially for fuel, we would never have needed to be addicted to oil, for one, an addiction that is …

It has been generally standard fare in the media to refer to Venezuela’s Globovision as the “sole opposition-aligned television channel,” as the AP has put it. Rarely, if ever, is the actual reporting of Globovision put into context, which makes a July 29 Los Angeles Times article all the more amazing. Chris Kraul and Mery [...]
