The Global Campaign Against McDonald's, and What it Stands for, Continues to Grow
Food is central to our everyday lives, yet we have virtually no control over its production and distribution. Multinational companies that profit through exploiting consumers, workers, the world's natural resources and billions of farmed animals dominate the food industry. The way we eat and think about food is being manipulated by powerful institutions' sophisticated marketing campaigns. To understand the reality behind the propaganda, you can focus on McDonald's - one of the most powerful, influential and well-known global companies. The corporation was founded 50 years ago, in 1955.
