BRUCE GUTHRIE – Director of Research
Bruce Guthrie is a native Oklahoman whose family dates back to Oklahoma Indian Territory. Bruce is educated in international business communications and German language. He has worked for Don McCorkell for just over 2.5 years.
Bruce's experience ranges from being a teaching tennis professional in Tulsa to being Staff Assistant at The Oklahoma House of Representatives. He has had a life-long love for, and has performed many years, jazz in the "West Coast Cool" genre made world famous by fellow Oklahoman Chet Baker.
His education includes an Associates degree in radio broadcast journalism and a Bachelor's degree in international business and communications. He speaks German proficiently and can also speak some Spanish and Japanese.
Bruce is one of eight children raised by his mother, Helen Guthrie, who at one point served on the White House staff of President Ronald Reagan.
